Registered in Australia as VH-FNP, August 23, 1966. To Airlines of N.S.W (Airlines of New South Wales), August 24, 1966. Operated by ASA (Airlines of South Australia) which was a subsidiary of Ansett-ANA (Ansett-Australian National Airways), September 19, 1966. Named "City of Whyalla". Operated by Ansett-ANA in full Airlines of South Australia livery, May 1968. Repainted into Airlines of N.S.W. colors, July 15, 1968. Repainted into Ansett Airlines of New South Wales 'delta' livery, August 1, 1969. Leased to Ansett Airlines of South Australia, July 23, 1977. Repainted into Airlines of South Australia 'Piping Shrike' livery, February 19, 1982. Aircraft named ' Sir Thomas Playford' at ceremony at West Beach Airport, March 14, 1982.
