Delivered to PIA on May 31, 1985. In 1997, aircraft named
"City of Sargodha" to celebrate Pakistan's 50 years of
independence. AP-BCA named "Gilgit - The
Silk Route" and received Frontier Province tail design as
part of Pakistan province tails livery introduced by PIA in
2006. Withdrawn from use in 2012. Parked at Karachi Airport,
Pakistan, and used as spares source. Registration AP-BCA
removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on January 10, 2013. Sale notice for the
aircraft on "as is where is" basis appeared in February 10,
2013 newspaper. Notice given in March 31, 2013, newspaper
for disposal of AP-BCA structure through open public auction
at Karachi Airport on April 23, 2013. |
