flight on December 2, 1966. Registered in Pakistan as AP-AUS
for PIA. Delivered to PIA on December 16, 1966. Registration PH-FKI
cancelled on December 20, 1966. On December
8, 1972, AP-AUS was performing PIA flight PK631 from Gilgit
to Rawalpindi/Islamabad when attempting to turn out of a
valley it crashed into a hill in rainy weather/poor
visibility in
Jalkot, Maidan, Kohistan.
All 5 crew members including Capt. Javedullah Khan and 28 passengers died in this accident. Registration
AP-AUS removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on February
17, 1975. |
