On May 12, 1957, aircraft re-registered as AP-AJT apparently due to in aircraft's registration AP-AEI, letter/alphabet 'I' = 'India' in international Radio Telephony (RT) communication. Because of poor diplomatic relations between Pakistan and India at that time. Pakistani aircraft registrations containing letter/alphabet 'I' were re-registered and new registration issued to these aircraft did not include letter/alphabet 'I'. AP-AJT named "City of Rawalpindi". Sold to Air Taxi of Iran and registered in Iran as EP-AGZ. Registration AP-AJT removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on June 1, 1968. On April 13, 1970, EP-AGZ was operating Air Taxi flight with two crew members and twenty three passengers when it stalled and struck the ground after take-off from Ahwaz Airport, Iran. All crew members and passengers survived the accident but the aircraft was damaged beyond repair after both of its engines caught uncontrollable fire.
