serial HB553. Returned to USAAF, March 27, 1947. Registered in India as VT-CKS, April 1947.
Registration VT-CKS cancelled, March 10, 1948. Registered in Pakistan as AP-ABJ. The
aircraft struck an air pocket (updraft or downdraft) while
landing at Faridpur, East Pakistan, on April 12, 1948. AP-ABJ
crashed on belly, undercarriage was torn off. The aircraft
caught fire and was completely burnt out. Registration AP-ABJ removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on December 23,
1948. |
